Meet More Diverse Music Styles of ‘Master Cheat Key’!
The ‘Master Cheat Key,’ SHINee’s KEY (SM Entertainment), is releasing the second regular album repackage, ‘Killer,’ on February 13th.
This album delivers 14 songs, including three new pieces: the single of the same name, ‘Killer,’ ‘Heartless,’ and ‘Easy’ and 11 songs from the second regular album, enough to experience the music style of KEY that became more colorful.
In addition, the second regular album, ‘Gasoline,’ KEY released August last year globally, won the enormous interest of music fans by taking first place on iTunes Top Album Charts in 24 regions worldwide. Great responses are expected for this album, which will unroll a broad musical spectrum of KEY.
Single, ‘Killer,’ announces the return of the ‘Retro King‘! Up-tempo dance song in a dark mood, capturing the regret and pain of parting!
The single, ‘Killer,’ is an up-tempo dance song with a retro sound created based on new wave and synth-pop from the 1980s. A signature synthesizer, rhythmical drumline, and various FX sounds are put together to create a dark mood. The lyrics capture the regret and pain that comes through the guilt of cruelly abandoning the lover.
Another new song listed in this album, ‘Heartless,’ is a rock-based dance song combining energetic electric guitar, intense timpani, and bass sounds. The lyrics tell a story about the creature given birth by the ‘mad scientist’ that appears on the cover of the second regular album, ‘Gasoline.’
‘Easy,’ also a new song, is a medium-tempo pop song with a dreamlike sound created by the heavy 808 bass, sub bass, and drum line and the dramatic development of the string sound raging in the second half of the song. The lyrics explain that the saying that it is easy to pretend to be okay in front of the person you left is a lie. KEY’s vocals that delicately express the deep line of the heart have a unique charm.VIEW MORE
