SM Strategy
Culture technology serving as SM Entertainment’s business foundation comprises three steps:
culture creation, culture development and culture expansion.
We shape our culture technology based on existing technologies of different kinds including 3D, Hologram, Voice Conversion, STS, TTS and Matrix camera.
Culture Creation is our system that fosters artists and creates music and contents through the process of casting, training, producing, managing and marketing.
Culture Development is the process of using and providing the artist IP (Intellectual Property) to induce primary values, categorized into four sections
Music Album/Sound Source/Concert/MD Business
Expansion of the genres, including entertainment/movie/play/musical/ classical music
Diversification of music genres through label business
A variety of collaborations within the entertainment industry and other similar industries that provide IP
Culture expansion refers to the industrywise stretch of the entertainment industry to other business areas utilizing IP (Intellectual Property).
