New World of aespa's Music to be Shown through 6 Songs that Capture Various Charms!
aespa (SM Entertainment) is releasing its third mini-album titled, 'MY WORLD,' on May 8th.
This album is coming out about ten months after 'Girls,' the second mini-album released in July last year. It lists six songs that tell an epic about the second season of their worldview, revealing a new story of aespa members who returned from KWANGYA to REAL WORLD.
For aespa has shown various charms with songs with powerful performances, such as the debut song, 'Black Mamba,' 'Next Level,' and 'Savage,' and songs in a bright mood, such as 'Dreams Come True' and 'Life's Too Short,' their new songs are raising expectations.
Single, 'Spicy,' with freewheeling and young charms of aespa!
The single, 'Spicy,' is a dance number with powerful synth bass and a dynamic beat. The lyrics show fatal and freewheeling charms of aespa. Listeners will feel cheerful and young energy along with the unique vocals of each member.
'Welcome To MY World,' unveiled as a pre-release single, is an alternative pop song with a dreamy guitar riff and splendid orchestration in the second half. It means inviting nævis to the REAL WORLD and listeners to aespa's unique music world, 'MY WORLD.'
This album also includes the songs previously released on the stage through ‘2023 aespa 1st Concert 'SYNK: HYPER LINE,' aespa's first solo concert held in March. 'Salty & Sweet' is an intense dance number centered on rough synth and bass sound with a playful and interesting vocal melody in the chorus. Members' unique vocals sing the interesting lyrics that say they will mesmerize you with 'Salty' and 'Sweet,' elixir-like charms, showing aespa's music style to the fullest.
Other songs in the album are 'Thirsty,' an R&B song with an exciting combination of aespa's sweet vocals and dreamy track sound, 'I’m Unhappy,’ a pop song with a charming mixture of minimal track and chic and dreamy vocals, and ‘'Till We Meet Again,’ a ballad song with impressive, beautiful string performance. All six songs in various genres will show aespa’s unique musical world.
